Excellently located for visiting the war graves of the Battle of Loos, this hotel provides comfort, excellent value and convenience. Lens is worthwhile stop-off in a tour through North-West France, with attractions in the vicinity that merit a visit, including the battlefields, La Bassee and Lens itself. The historic capital of the Pas-de-Calais coal-mining basin, Lens was completely destroyed during World War I and was rebuilt during the interwar period.
